Village People’s Federal Credit Union wants you to have a GREAT Holiday Season. For several years we have offered a "Skip-A-Payment" option to qualified borrowers. Many borrowers have chosen to take advantage of this option, so we will be offering it again this year.

Qualified borrowers will receive a letter in November. The letter will detail which loans meet the criteria for the option. The option cannot be offered on open-end or real estate loans due to Federal regulations. You may have only 1 extension per loan per year. If you have already had an extension on a loan in 2008, you will not qualify for this promotion. Qualified borrowers will be allowed to "skip" the December, 2008 loan payment(s). Please remember that loan interest will continue to accrue and will be paid when the next payment is made. Your final payment and maturity date will be extended by one month. Payroll deductions will be deposited into your share savings account in December, as usual.

To take advantage of the option, you will simply complete a Loan Extension Agreement and return it with a $10 (per loan) processing fee. Further details and deadline info will be sent to qualified borrowers at a later date.

The Credit Union office will be closed in observance of the following Holidays:

Thursday, November 27^th & Friday, November 28^th

Christmas

Thursday, December 25^th & Friday, December 26^th

Thursday, January 1^st
